Doggy Ways


Terms & Conditions

1. The Client is responsible for providing all the necessary items needed for training.
2. No choke chains, shock collars or prong collars may be used.

Vaccinations & Safety:
3. All puppies / dogs should be on leash at all times unless instructed otherwise by us.
4. Your puppy / dog’s vaccinations should be up to date at all times.
5. Please ensure that your puppy / dog is suitably protected against ticks and fleas at all times.
6. De-worming should be done every 3 months.  
7. Please send us a photo of your puppy / dog’s vaccination record including the vaccinations and deworming or bring this with to your first class.
8. Please ensure that any mess your puppy / dog makes is cleaned up immediately. 
9. Should your puppy / dog be ill, please inform us before coming to class.
10. No aggressive puppies / dogs are allowed and Doggy Ways reserves the right to cancel any further training without refunds should aggression be shown.
11. Doggy Ways agrees to provide services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of the services as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Doggy Ways, except those arising from negligence. 
12. Doggy Ways will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training of your puppy / dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions.   
13. The Client is and will remain responsible for the actions of their puppy / dog at all times and they hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doggy Ways of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of their puppy / dog while under Doggy Ways training.

Refunds and Class Attendance:
14. All classes should be attended within the allocated time frame.
15. Should you miss a class you will still receive that week’s exercises to practice at home.
16. Please note that should you miss more than two classes OR the last class, your puppy / dog will not be able to graduate.
17. The full course fee is due up front. NO refunds will be given under ANY circumstances.
18. Your booking is not confirmed until proof of payment has been received. 
19. We reserve the right to place you in another class in a different timeslot if we feel that the class will suit you and your puppy / dog better.
20. If a class needs to be rescheduled because of weather or if Doggy Ways cancels a class for any reason whatsoever, classes will then be extended with a week. Please note that there will be no classes over long weekends unless arranged by us. 

21. NO jerking, smacking, hitting, kneeing or other forms of physical punishment will be tolerated.

22. NO modeling – physically manipulating your puppy / dog into a specific position or compulsion – manipulating your puppy / dog into a position by using physical placement or training equipment will be tolerated.

23. Doggy Ways reserves the right to use photos taken during classes on our Facebook page and website.
